Love conquers all. So wrote the poet Virgil more than two millennia ago and yet those words have shaped my reality. I have believed in that idea whole-heartedly for as long as I can remember. It has given me strength in times of darkness; it has shown me faith in my life and it has revealed a way of truth and compassion. Love is the path to wisdom and I am walking every day.
Needless to say, it is a long journey. My creative path winds through many mountains, takes the long way, the short way, the upside down way, enjoys the view and gets lost in the forest.
But, hey! Life is in the journey and art is in the process so when I say I live my art, well that is exactly what I do.
Being a photographer is a way of seeing and interpreting the world.
Distilling an endless series of moments into an expression of truth, into an image that speaks to someone.
In my art and in my wedding and portrait images the creative atmosphere is the same. The desire to translate this tenuous existence into still frames, to stop time for a moment and look, at this life, at this dream we love so deeply.
